Today, the Advocate announced that Macy Gray, best known for her 2000 hit “I Try” , will be performing in Ridgefield on Oct. 4th. Here are a few other artists who will be coming to Connecticut to perform soon:

The Tijuana Guys will give a three-hour performance of their 2001 mega-hit* “Where Did My Cats Go?” at the Palace in Stamford on October 18. Tickets are $100 and Hawaiian shirts are mandatory attire.

Aunt Honkie will perform a set of Hank Williams, Jr. covers outside of the Oakdale in Wallingford on November 2. Please do not ask her to play her hit song “I’ll Lead The Way”, but if you agree to buy her a hamburger after the show, she may play her rendition of “Drift Away” made famous by Dobie Gray for you.

Sinkronized, the once ultra-popular “boy band” that launched the career of solo artist Jason Pineharbor, will reunite to perform in an alley in Bridgeport if you bring $5 and call their agent, Hank Chuckface, 30 minutes before you wish them to perform. Jason, sadly, will not be joining them, as he has gone on to a fruitful career in insurance sales.

Dan D. thought the Jason Pineharbor record that came out last year was good until “You Are My Prism” got way too overplayed.
